A series of unique projects that revolve around dialogs, exchanges, and makings of books and book objects
with others (in the broadest interpretation).
Collaboratively curated and initiated by Denise
Bookwalter + Tricia Treacy in 2025 as a non-traditional
platform to disseminate contemporary notions of an artist books, zines, and non-traditional libraries.
Volume 1 was launched at the Bergen Art Book Fair in Bergen, Norway as a unique small library of twenty-five
artist books and book objects, made for this project, that narrate an aspect of passing time. They exist in
a digital format online to be shared over time. One full set of the books is housed in the Frances Mulhall
Achilles Library, Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.
Volume 2 will be launched at the Printed Matter New York Art Book Fair at MOMA PS1 in September 2026. This
printed matter contains a collection of books from an assortment of personal libraries collated and meant to
be shared with others. It is a snapshot of items in a 2026 personal or intimate library. The list of books
and the publication will be documented on this site in Fall 2026.
